FAQS

  • All default club shipments contain red wine, with the option to customize with the selection. You may swap reds for whites. We also offer a Reds Only Club; just email Melissa@fableistwine.com to have your membership switched.

  • Once you receive the club release announcement, you can log in to your account and customize your shipment within the selection.

  • You are welcome to add any Classic Wines to your allocation. The Wine Club membership includes 6 Reserve Wines. The Classic Wines cannot be substituted for Reserve Wines.

  • If your address is out of date, please contact our Wine Club Manager, Melissa, to have your package held for pickup or redirected to the correct address. FedEx and GLS will make 2-3 consecutive delivery attempts before returning your wines to us.

  • We’ll notify you that the customization window is open about 15 days prior to billing. You’ll receive a link to view your shipment online. At that time, you can adjust your shipping details, and card details or add wines to your order.

  • Due to legal restrictions, we cannot ship wine to the following states: UT, KY, MS & SD.

    Proof that you are twenty-one (21) years of age will be required upon delivery.

  • Yes, of course! If you live locally or want to venture to Templeton, you can opt to have all club orders held at the tasting room for pickup. We will hold them for 6 weeks before shipping to you. You can also make a one-off request to have your club order held during the customization window.

  • Yes — please contact Melissa to arrange a gift membership. Email Melissa@fableistwine.com or call the wine club office at (805) 246-1431 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

  • You will be billed in April and September. We’ll send you an email notification 2.5 weeks prior to billing, with information about the selection and add-on options. After billing, you’ll see a charge from Fableist Wine Co. on your statement.

  • You can update your membership online, via email or over the phone. Head to your “Account” page to make changes online. You can also email Melissa@fableistwine.com or call us at (805) 246-1431 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

  • Since members receive benefits immediately upon activating their accounts, we ask that they take two shipments before canceling.

  • We hate to see you go, but if you wish, you may cancel your club membership any time before the charge date of the Spring or Fall club. Email Melissa@fableistwine.com to cancel.
