A NOTE FROM OUR TEAM
The release of these 2021 vintage Reserve bottles marks the tenth year of wines produced under The Fableist Wine Co. For our fall release, we like to gather the best of the best from our cellar. Each wine is typically 4-8 barrel lots — miniscule when you consider that each year, we bottle more than 2,000 barrels of Cabernet Sauvignon alone for our classic cuvée.
Our fall selection stems from the best fruit I can find on the Central Coast. Although these varieties might be mainstream, every plot is tended to by an interesting character, and the dirt itself is truly unique and special. Upon harvest, I get the fruit over to Curt and the winemaking team. They work their magic and turn these baby grapes into an exceptional bottle for you to savor.
I hope you enjoy the blood, sweat and tears the Fableist team poured into getting these bottles of vino on your family’s table.
